Yeti 618, Sandblasted Tomato Briar Pipe, Unsmoked (USA) [SOLD OUT]

Description
For the Christmas season, pipe makers often release special pipes with a shared theme, finish, or color palette. This tradition is well-known among historic manufacturers. However, artisan carvers rarely participate due to the time and effort required for each handmade pipe and stem, making it impractical for multiple yearly releases. In an exceptional gesture, Micah “Yeti” Cryder created 12 pipes in the 12 days leading up to Christmas in 2020. Each of these pipes features unique shapes, finishes, but they all share antique Bakelite stems in various colors and accents in brass or bronze.
This particular Tomato pipe was the third in Micah’s “12 Days of Christmas” release and reflects his distinctive pipe-making style. He prefers crafting compact pipes, and this one measures under five inches in length. Despite its small size, the forward-leaning bowl and tapered shank create a robust yet sleek and dynamic profile. The stummel has a concise sandblast and a dark stain that directs attention to the shimmering emerald-hued antique Bakelite mouthpiece, accented with brass at the shank end.
