Weber Blackthorne 415, Sandblasted Billiard Estate Briar Pipe [SOLD OUT]
Out of stock
Description
Weber Pipe Co. was a major American pipe company established by German immigrant Carl B. Weber in 1938, also known for writing the book Weber’s Guide to Pipes and Pipe Smoking. In addition to manufacturing Weber pipes, WPC also manufactured Jobey pipes and contracted Karl Erik to produce the Jobey Dansk line during the Danish pipe boom in the later 20th century.
We’ve said it before, but it is worth restating: we get more requests for Weber pipes than any other make, which is impressive given that we stock all manner of estates. They’re fantastic smokers, so I can see why they’re so desirable. Anyway, this Weber is a lovely sandblasted billiard, deviating only ever so slightly from the English-French shaping standards by having a relatively tall, stack-like bowl.
The condition is quite remarkable too. If not for a tiny amount of tooth chatter on its vulcanite stem, this Weber might well pass for unsmoked.
