Unknown Partially Sandblasted Freehand Estate Briar Pipe, Danish Estates
Out of stock
Description
I’m afraid I don’t know who made this freehand, though I do know that it was made by a Danish carver, and the country of manufacture stamping is uncannily similar to the one used by Preben Holm. The mixed finish is also something Holm had a proclivity for. It’s a nice, solid pipe, though, with the two finish types highlighting distinct grain patterns exactly as they should. It’s a sitter, too, which is always a bonus for larger pipes like these.
The condition is good. Definitely some rim darkening and slight handling marks, but nothing major.
