Thomas Cristiano Smooth Bent Billiard Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked

Description

While originally born in Italy, Thomas Cristiano emigrated to the United States at the age of 16, quickly finding work in the S.M. Frank factory in Long Island. S.M. Frank is a historic American pipe-making company, and at this time Cristiano worked on Frank-owned makes such as Kaywoodie. Later, Cristiano departed to make his own pipes under the Thomas Cristiano name.

This particular Thomas Cristiano is a very traditional quarter-bent billiard, with a brick-red stain dressed over a good amount of flame grain, all tied together with a brass and silver trim.

This pipe is completely unsmoked, with an original bowl coating. There are a couple of small scratches on the bowl exterior, but nothing major.
