Stanwell’s ‘M’ designation after a shape number indicates a mount was added to an existing design. In this case, a brass army mount has been added to Stanwell’s shape 83, a classically inclined bent billiard from the historic Danish pipe-maker.
With a crisp black sandblast, this De Luxe 83M features an army mount that will allow smokers to remove the stem while smoking if the need arises. Made in Denmark in the old Stanwell factory, the pipe comes with its original Stanwell pipe sleeve. The stem has been professionally replaced.
