The Sportsman is a make that has largely been lost to time—as is the fate of many makes. These pipes were produced around the mid-20th century and distributed by John Hudson Moore, Inc., an American company that distributed other classic 20th century makes, such as Sasieni. This particular Sportsman is a classic apple shape, which has been rusticated to give it a more rugged, American working-man’s aesthetic.
The condition is good. Rim darkening, but nothing to stop it being a reliable companion.
