Savinelli Trevi 311 KS Rusticated Poker Estate Briar Pipe, 6mm, Italian Estates
Out of stock
Description
It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously offered high quality pipes for nearly 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.
Poker shapes have been popular for a long time, no doubt owing largely to their simple, functionalist, eminently ergonomic design. Savinelli’s flagship poker shape, the 311, has also been popular for a long time, and—if I remember correctly—is only rivaled by Savinelli’s shape 320 KS author in terms of annual sales figures. This one is dressed in Savinelli’s rusticated Trevi finish, adding a touch of additional class to the design by way of a near-black stain and baroque engraved collar.
The condition is good. Some rim darkening and finish fading. As with most Savinelli pipes, this one is chambered to fit a 6mm filter, such as Savinelli’s own balsa filters, but will perform just as well without one.
