Savinelli Roma Rusticated Bent Apple Estate Briar Pipe, 6mm, Italian Estates

It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously offered high quality pipes for nearly 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.

The Roma is a classic series from Savinelli, but over the years it’s one that has changed in some significant ways. This iteration of the Roma, for example, has a jet black vulcanite stem – something rarely used on Savinelli pipes these days, aside from their highest grade offerings. It’s also a far more reserved design than the Roma Lucite, maintaining the traditionalist aesthetic provided by its classic, bent apple shape.

The condition is excellent. This pipe was well looked after, and is being sold through our consignment program. As with many Savinellis, it is chambered for 6mm filters as standard, but will smoke just as well without one.
