Savinelli Pulcinella 645 KS Smooth Bent Brandy Briar Pipe, 6mm
Out of stock
Description
It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously offered high quality pipes for nearly 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.
Like the Arlecchino and Paloma series, the Pulcinella series belongs to a recent trend by Savinelli in exploring novel color combinations for their pipes, each with custom-cast stems of unorthodox design. The Pulcinella takes its name from a character from Italy’s historic commedia dell’arte, whose costume is typically a white tunic and black mask. This Pulcinella is the series’ smooth variant, featuring a quintessentially Italian light brown stain that shows off the briar’s grain patterns beautifully.
Like most modern Savinelli pipes, this one is chambered for 6mm filters as standard, such as Savinelli’s own balsa filters, but will smoke just as well without one.
