Savinelli Porto Cervo 673 KS Rusticated Bulldog Estate Briar Pipe, 6mm, Italian Estates
Out of stock
Description
It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously offered high quality pipes for nearly 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.
Taking its name from a village in Sardinia – an island with a rich history when it comes to briar cultivation – the Porto Cervo series wears a rocky finish evocative of both the stone formations of its namesake’s shorelines and the distinctly Italian traditions of pipe rustication. This one is rendered in Savinelli’s 673 KS, a unique interpretation of the classical bulldog with a triangular, rather than diamond, shank.
The condition is very good. Some light rim darkening. The pipe is chambered for 6mm filters as standard, such as Savinelli’s own balsa filters, but will smoke just as well without one.
