It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously offered high quality pipes for nearly 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.
Savinelli’s Paloma series was introduced in 2023, with its most distinct feature being the addition of specially-produced, swirled caramel, cream, and umber stems. This Paloma wears the series’ smooth finish, a light blonde stain highlighting the pipe’s beautiful, natural grain patterns.
As with most modern Savinelli pipes, this one is chambered for 6mm filters as standard, such as Savinelli’s balsa filters, but will smoke just as well without one.
