Savinelli Ottagono 111 Sandblasted Panel Bent Billiard Briar Pipe, 6mm (477/600)

Description

It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously offered high quality pipes for nearly 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.

You won’t find the pipes of Savinelli’s Ottagono series on any of the make’s shape charts. That’s because the designs are both unique and very limited in production. These seldom-produced pipes are all paneled variations on classic shapes, featuring an elegant, black sandblasted finish that is made all the more elegant in being paired with an amber-toned Lucite stem.

As with many Savinelli pipes, this Ottagono is chambered for 6mm filters as standard, such as Savinelli’s balsa filters, but will smoke just as well without one. This also happens to be a limited edition Savinelli, numbered 477/600
