Savinelli Estella Rusticated Oom Paul Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked
Out of stock
Description
It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously offered high quality pipes for nearly 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.
While long discontinued, Savinelli’s Estella line a cult favorite among collectors and smokers. We don’t get too many of them here, but when we do, they’re in and out of the door pretty quickly. There’s just something about the rustication approach that’s so appealing, possibly because, even when compared to other Italian finishes, it is undeniably rough and rugged. Thus one is a little different to most Estellas I’ve come across, being a far more traditional shape than typical Estella freehands. This one has instead taken the form of Savinelli’s 614 Oom Paul shape, dressed in a near-black stain, and complemented by a golden Lucite stem.
This Estella is also completely unsmoked, with a factory original bowl coating. It also comes with its original box and sleeve.
