Savinelli Estella 316 EX Rusticated Pot Estate Briar Pipe, Italian Estates
Out of stock
Description
It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously offered high quality pipes for nearly 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.
This Savinelli comes from the brand’s short-lived Estella line, one that went on to become a cult favorite among collectors and smokers. There’s just something about the impressively rugged rustication that makes the Estella line so appealing. While many of the Estella pipes were made freehand, this one shows that, even when applied to more classical shapes like Savinelli’s 316 quarter-bent pot, it still looks fantastic. In fact this Estella is a generally a very traditional design, which makes the contrast effect lent to it by the signature finish even more striking.
The condition is very good. Some inner rim darkening.
