Savinelli 2021 Saint Nicholas 673 KS, Bent Bulldog Briar Pipe, Italian Estates [SOLD OUT]
Out of stock
Description
It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously produced high quality pipes for nearly 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.
For many years, Savinelli has released annual, limited edition, ‘Saint Nicholas’ pipes during the Christmas season. This one, from 2021, is a festive rendition of Savinelli’s 673 KS shape, favored by many pipe smokers, including the late John ‘Matches860’ Harden. It’s a great design; an Italian take on the bent bulldog, with a triangular, rather than diamond, shank and, in this instance, a verdant green, lucite stem. Banding the shank are three rings, two golden and one white, as a final touch to tie things together.
The condition is excellent. The pipe also comes with its original box.
