Peterson’s Carroll of Carrollton special-edition pipe is an annual release celebrating the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and honoring one of its chief signatories, the only Irish-Catholic to appear on the seminal document, Charles Carroll of Maryland.

Paying tribute to the intertwined histories of the United States and Ireland, Peterson’s 2023 Carroll of Carrollton series is limited to 247 smooth finished pipes and 247 sandblasted pipes, as it has been 247 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, making this series highly collectable. The 2023 Carroll of Carrollton pipe presents a lean Acorn shape outfitted with an elongated, jet-black demi-Churchwarden stem. Additionally, pipes in this series feature Peterson’s renowned silverwork in the form of a broad silver band on the shank end. The series features several finishes, with this particular pipe dressed in the walnut smooth finish of the Heritage series, giving this pipe a distinguished appeal.
