PapaBearPipes are made by North American artisan Tim Beaumont. Beaumont has been making pipes since 2018, cultivating a unique style that isn’t afraid to mix and match design elements and to create something completely out of the ordinary.

One thing I love about Tim Beaumont’s pipes is how unique they are, even when there are resemblances to familiar shapes. This one looks to combine elements from both the traditional cherrywood, and the more modern volcano shape, as seen in the pipes of, for example, Todd Johnson or Brian Ruthenberg. But even then, Beaumont’s is a singularly stout rendition, with bowl walls thick enough to handle any blend you throw at it, a crisp and deep ring grain sandblast, and a forest-themed green ferrule and stem that match the bowl’s reddish contrast stain just perfectly.

The condition is great. Some very minor rim darkening and handling marks, but nothing major at all.
