Orlik Rose 74965 Smooth Bullmoose Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked
Out of stock
Description
Orlik was an English pipe manufacturer founded in 1899 by Louis Orlik. While originally the company’s mission was to produce low-cost pipes, the make would ultimately be known for the distinctly high quality of their products. Consequently, Orlik pipes are today a favorite among pipe smokers and collectors, especially those who prefer the hobby’s Great British classics.
The bullmose was once a shape that straddled the Atlantic, whether in the rugged stylings of Custom-Bilt, or in the far more reserved composures of GBD and Peterson. Nowadays, it’s a little less common, but it has retained a cult following. This particular iteration belongs to Orlik, as part of their Rose line. It is closer to GBD’s shape 9438 than its American or Irish counterparts, but has its own extra layer of charm thanks to its titular ruby red stain.
This Orlik is also completely unsmoked, with a factory-original bowl coating to help with breaking it in. It also comes with its original box and sleeve.
