Orlik London 56071 Smooth Bent Bulldog Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked [SOLD OUT]
Out of stock
Description
Orlik was an English pipe manufacturer founded in 1899 by Louis Orlik. While originally the company’s mission was to produce low-cost pipes, the make would ultimately be known for the distinctly high quality of their products. Consequently, Orlik pipes are today a favorite among pipe smokers and collectors, especially those who prefer the hobby’s Great British classics.
I’ve had a few Orlik pipes on my desk recently, but I think this one might be the best looking among them. Orlik pipes are typically beautiful things, but the straight grain and flame grain patterns rising up around the bowl on this one makes it quite a stunning piece. The brown-sugar stain works well to accentuate these grain patterns, while the traditional quarter-bent bulldog shape lends a reserved quality to the striking aesthetic created by the finish.
This Orlik is also completely unsmoked, with a factory-original bowl coating to help ease in its first smokes. It also comes with its original box and sleeve.
