Debuting all the way back in 2014, the BlackJack is one of the great success stories of American pipe-making in the 21st century. Conceived by California’s Chris Morgan (who would also go on to create the wildly successful Bones series), the Blackjack was conceived as a way to apply the techniques and design principles that Morgan had established as a high-grade, artisan pipe-maker to something more affordable. With the combined expertise of Morgan and of the established Italian pipe factories charged with manufacturing, the BlackJack has been a mainstay among pipe smokers ever since.
This particular BlackJack, however, is a little different. It is a limited edition design, featuring a distinct, amber-toned accent. Conceived in 2024, these pipes celebrate 10 years of the BlackJack, and are exclusive to MBSD Pipes.
