Mina Pipes Sandblasted Rhodesian Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked

Description

This particular pipe came to us with a batch of new old stock (NOS) pipes from a store closure a few states over. Based on what I was able to research, the Mina company runs a pipe workshop in China, not unlike HS Studio or GH Zhang, which produces a number of different makes based on the style of pipe. This one is a sandblasted Rhodesian with a distinct twist, having a rim and chamber at a slight off-angle in relation to its bowl and bead-line. Those familiar with the signature shapes of Vladimir Grechukhin, or even simply Denmark’s Pibe Dan, may recognize this approach to pipe design, as it allows the bowl to remain vertical while the pipe hangs from one’s jaw. Nifty.

This pipe is completely unsmoked, and comes with its original sleeve.
