The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our new series of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature silver army mounts or spigot mounts.

While the author is a very traditional Anglo-French design, in the modern age it is the Italians who have made arguably the greatest impact on its development. Shapes such as the Brebbia 602 or the Savinelli 320 KS (as well as its little sister, the 321) have helped define the author’s signature squat and broad stature, as well as its wide chamber, resulting in a singular suitability toward ribbon and mixture cuts. This is one of our Italian-inspired meerschaum shapes in that vein, including an Italian-style partial rustication, along with a reverse calabash chamber in its shank for an even cooler, drier smoke.
