MBSD Meerschaum Silver Reverse Calabash Rhodesian Block Meerschaum Pipe

Description

The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our new series of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature silver army mounts or spigot mounts.

While I have spent many a listing touting my quest to bring traditional briar pipe shapes into meerschaum pipe design, there’s still a place in my heart for traditionally “Turkish” meers. The painstakingly intricate carvings associated with Eskişehir and other Turkish locales are, of course, one of the wonders of the pipe-making world. So, I still carry a select few, so long as they are worthy of their reputation. This one certainly is, with a highly detailed floral theme as per Turkish tradition. Aside from that, it’s a surprisingly stout Rhodesian-ish shape, with an amber-hued acrylic stem and a reverse calabash system for an extra cool, dry smoke.
