Lattice Danish-Style Egg w/ Silver Block Meerschaum Estate Pipe, Turkish Estates

I’m not sure who made this meerschaum pipe, but they certainly did a good job. Like my own carver and I, the makers of this Danish-style egg shaped piece (also could be considered a Danish fish) seem to have been influenced by the Danish greats, with this one being evocative of Lars Ivarsson, Kurt Balleby, and the like. It’s a big pipe, with a very generous chamber, and not only is it adorned with a touch of silver, it also has an amber-like acrylic ring at the base of the stem. A nice, extra touch, I’d say.

The condition is very good. Some minor inner rim darkening and a small nick at the end of the shank, but it’s purely superficial.
