Large Antique 1800s Continental Silver Plate Mounted Meerschaum Pipe, Austrian [SOLD OUT]

Description

There is an old crack along the shank, but has been addressed in a previous restoration. It smokes like it did in the late 1800s. The maker was Anton Klitsch, of Vienna Austria. He was a pipe maker from the mid 1840s to 1860. The makers name is engraved on the pipe. This is a massive pipe. We use a regular size meerschaum pipe in the last picture, to give an idea of how large this pipe is. The silver is hallmark. A stem that would be used with a hunters pipe will work.
