Kaywoodie Fine Line Wire Rusticated Pot Estate Briar Pipe, American Estates
Out of stock
Description
Kaywoodie pipes are as American as apple pie. Starting in 1919 as a pipe brand for KB&B, a pipe shop dating all the way back to 1851, Kaywoodie has since then been a staple of American-made pipes. In the present, many Kaywoodies are collectors’ items, in addition to being fantastic smokers.
The Fine Line was manufactured by Kaywoodie from around the mid-1950s until the mid-1970s. The name referred to the distinct finish these pipes wore, in the form of a tapestry of narrow, wire rustication. This one is a wonderfully lightweight Anglo-French pot shape, and due to its vintage, it feature’s the make’s renowned “Drinkless” four hole stinger and “Synchro-stem” screw tenon fitment.
The condition is fair. Rim darkening and some finish fading.
