Born in Vordingorg, Denmark in 1951, Kai Nielsen learned the “art of pipe making” from his father Viggo, a skilled pipe maker. Through hard work and dedication to his craft, Kai’s talents soon gained recognition and admiration from many.
Continuing in his father’s footsteps, Kai meticulously chooses only the finest aged briar, mostly from Corsica, and air cures it for several years to ensure exceptional smoking quality. His handcut acrylic and cumberland mouthpieces are also crafted with exquisite skill.
