Hardcastle Executive 910 Smooth Bent Pot Estate Briar Pipe [SOLD OUT]
Out of stock
Description
Hardcastle is an English make founded by Edmund Hardcastle in 1908. Thanks to a merger in 1946, today it is most commonly known as a Dunhill sub-brand, focusing on mid-range, but nonetheless well made, English pipes.
While Dunhill owns Hardcastle, this particular pipe is quite distinct from the shapes Dunhill makes, being a wide, bent pot with a diamond shank. The breadth of the design has a nice, full hand-feel to it, which should make it ideal for sitting and sipping after a long day. It also has some quite lovely grain, with plenty of bird’s-eye patterns around the bowl, and an ornate, electroplated silver band collaring its transition towards a vulcanite, saddle stem.
The condition is great. I don’t see any issues that necessitate highlighting. It also comes with its original box.
