Dr Grabow might just be the quintessential American working man’s pipe. Created in 1932 by Linkman & Co., the Dr Grabow name soon became a staple in the American pipe world, being still produced today and enjoyed by novices and veterans alike.

This might just be one of the nicest Grabows I’ve ever seen. The grain on its own is excellent, with plenty of great looking flame grain around its bowl, but the paneled shank is what really sets it apart for me.

The condition is great too. There’s a tiny amount of inner rim darkening, but that’s all I note.
