Comoy’s Tradition 126 Smooth Pot Estate Briar Pipe, English Estates
Out of stock
Description
Comoy’s is a historic brand in pipe making, and possibly the most historic brand in the making of briar pipes. Though originally founded in 1825 by a French family from Saint Claude, France, production of Comoy’s pipes was soon moved to London, England, where it established itself as one of the quintessential English pipe companies.
There are few names for a pipe as fitting as Comoy’s Tradition line. This is not only because, retrospectively, Comoy’s represents one of the giants of traditional pipe design and manufacture, but because the line was introduced in 1925 to already mark 100 years of Comoy’s pipes. This Tradition is, as one could guess, a classic Anglo-French pot, with a wide chamber well suited for mixture and ribbon cuts.
The condition is good. Some handling marks and rim darkening.
