Comoy’s Spectrum 186, Smooth Straight Billiard Estate Briar Pipe [SOLD OUT]
Out of stock
Description
Comoy’s is a historic brand in pipe making, and possibly the most historic brand in the making of briar pipes. Though originally founded in 1825 by a French family from Saint Claude, France, production of Comoy’s pipes was soon moved to London, England, where it established itself as one of the quintessential English pipe companies.
This Comoy’s is a lovely medium to medium-large billiard in the traditional English-French style. In addition to the nice, golden-brown vertical grain around the bowl and bird’s-eye rim, the pipe is collared by a three-part band of brass and acrylic, giving it a little something extra.
The condition is excellent. There’s a little bit of darkening on the inner lip of the beveled rim, but the rest of the finish is without marks, and the stem is free of tooth dents or abrasions.
