Description

In 2022, Chris Morgan teamed up with friend and fellow artisan pipe-maker Sean Reum to create the Workshop series. The series was intended to be a step-up from factory pipes, offering pipe smokers hand made pipes at a more affordable price point. Small batches of Workshop pipes continue to be made every so often, though production is limited.

Originally, Morgan & Reum’s Workshop pipes was focused on sandblasted pipes, but in the years since their debut, the Workshop series has branched into other finishes. This Workshop, for example, features the pair’s ‘Meteorite’ rustication. I’ve taken to calling it ‘Space Rock Briar’ myself, but that’s just me. The pipe is a rather curious shape, being a tall, low-slung Rhodesian reminiscent of the early Danish masters.
