CAO Ismet Bekler Hand carved Sultan Block Meerschaum Pipe

This vintage Ismet Bekler came to use through our trade program. The original owner bought this meer back in the 80s from the Tinderbox. While CAO is widely associated with cigars nowadays, it wasn’t long ago that their primary business was importing meerschaum into the United States. It’s safe to say Ismet Bekler and his pipe making ability is responsible for CAOs success as an importer. Bekler is regarded as one of the all time great Turkish pipe makers.
