The stand does not come included. We left the patina on the silver, as it gives the Spartan helmet windcap character. This is a really unique pipe, that could be the centerpiece of any collection. Comes with an ornate cherry stem. When we had the opportunity to purchase this pipe from a collection in Germany, we did our due diligence in researching this pipe. We use various sites to get an idea of age, value, provenance, scarcity etc. When looking up comps for this pipe, particularly on worthpoint, we could find no ulmer pipes with Spartan helmet windcaps.
