1982 Richard C. Johnson Facet Freehand Estate Briar Pipe, American Estates
Out of stock
Description
Richard “R.C.” Johnson started his pipe-making career at Weber, all the way back in 1939, later leaving and making pipes under his own name. Over the years, he established himself as one of America’s most notable pipe-makers. This large and highly unique panel design is very much in the American freehand tradition, while also being oddly reminiscent of the traditional foursquare.
The condition is good. Some rim darkening and a few surface-level imperfections in the briar.
