We were lucky enough to acquire a set of unused Kaywoodie pipes, primarily from the late 1960s. The Kaywoodie Meer, the last remaining pipe from this collection, is one of my personal favorites. However, I have a tendency to let such pipes sit on my workbench for extended periods before offering them for sale in the store.
Based on our research, we suspect that this pipe was featured in Kaywoodie’s 1968-69 catalog, primarily due to the logo it bears.It is worth noting that this collection also included another Kaywoodie Meer, a coral block meerschaum pipe, which we can confirm appeared in the same catalog, and with the same logo.
