Description
Kaywoodie pipes are as American as apple pie. Starting in 1919 as a pipe brand for KB&B, a pipe shop dating all the way back to 1851, Kaywoodie has since then been a staple of American-made pipes. In the present, many Kaywoodies are collectors’ items, in addition to being fantastic smokers.
While Kaywoodie pipes are often considered to be on the “affordable” end of the pipe price spectrum, this one shows that “affordable” is not simply synonymous with “low quality.” Taking the form of a very lightweight, very traditional Dublin, this Kaywoodie Signet is covered in gorgeous, bird’s-eye grain patterns, and its aluminum collar helps the bowl shine even more. Though I’m not sure entirely of the decade this one was produced, it does feature the Drinkless stinger and Adjustomatic fitment that most Kaywoodies had in the make’s 20th century golden age,
The condition is great. A couple of small dings on the bowl, but nothing major.
