Description

MBSD Meerschaum Masters is our line for special, typically figural, meerschaum pipes carved by some of today’s greatest living meerschaum carvers. MBSD Meerschaum Masters Deluxe are made by those same greats, but also feature our patented Briar-Mortise. For this pipe, we enlisted the services of Turkish master Kenan.

Animals have served as popular motifs in meerschaum carving for centuries. Furthermore, there is a group of animals that have been strongly represented in these carvings, with this group having one particular thing in common: hunting. For this entry in the MBSD Meerschaum Masters series, renowned Turkish carver Kenan applied his skills to an elegant yet assertive figural piece depicting the head of a bull, and even fitted a horn-hued acrylic stem to further the pipe’s theme.
