Thomas Cristiano Smooth Billiard Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked

Description

While originally born in Italy, Thomas Cristiano emigrated to the United States at the age of 16, quickly finding work in the S.M. Frank factory in Long Island. S.M. Frank is a historic American pipe-making company, and at this time Cristiano worked on Frank-owned makes such as Kaywoodie. Later, Cristiano departed to make his own pipes under the Thomas Cristiano name.

As with another Thomas Cristiano listed recently, this one is shaped in the vein of the stout French Maigret and its English analogs such as the Dunhill LB, or Large Billiard. And, just like that one, this one is laden with very beautiful flame grain, as well as a triplet of brass and silver accents.

This pipe is completely unsmoked, with an original bowl coating.
