Savinelli Estella Rusticated Freehand Dublin Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked
Out of stock
Description
It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously offered high quality pipes for nearly 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.
While long discontinued, Savinelli’s Estella line a cult favorite among collectors and smokers. We don’t get too many of them here, but when we do, they’re in and out of the door pretty quickly. They tend to be on the large side, as with this freehand brandy shape, and the rustication is very rugged, even when compared to other Italian approaches. As with the last one we listed (which seems to have sold in just under 12 hours), this one is a quintessential Estella: a large, moderately classical freehand, dressed in a near-black rusticated finish and paired with golden Lucite. This one, on the other hand, is quite a bit larger than the last, with a very generous chamber.
This pipe is completely unsmoked, with an original bowl coating.
