Kaywoodie pipes are as American as apple pie. Starting in 1919 as a pipe brand for KB&B, a pipe shop dating all the way back to 1851, Kaywoodie has since then been a staple of American-made pipes. In the present, many Kaywoodies are collectors’ items, in addition to being fantastic smokers.

I am genuinely impressed by this Kaywoodie. The finish is exquisite: a deep, ring grain sandblast, dressed in a light, blonde stain. It is more than a little reminiscent of something like an older production Ashton Old Church. How does that Shaq quote go again? “I wasn’t really familiar with your game.”

The condition is great. Very light rim darkening and a small amount of tooth chatter.
