Savinelli Sasso 701 Rusticated Lovat Briar Pipe, 6mm, New
Out of stock
Description
The Sasso is one of a number of new lines released by Savinelli this year, all of which have really impressed me. The Sasso might be my favorite, and indeed might be my favorite Savinelli release since the Miele, which I adore. Coming from the Italian word for “stone,” the Sasso is distinguished by its marbled acrylic stem, as well as a collar formed by off-white and light blue acrylic bands. It’s colorful, but very tasteful. This Sasso is a classic and incredibly lightweight Lovat shape, with a weathered brown rustication that contrasts beautifully with the hues of its accents and stem.
Like most contemporary Savinelli pipes, this one has a tenon that will fit 6mm filters, such as Savinelli’s own balsa filters, but the pipe will perform just as well without a filter if preferred.
