Martin Cermak Sandblasted Eskimo Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked
Out of stock
Description
If you were to ask me how to best describe the pipes of Czech artisan Martin Čermák, I’d probably point to one of his Rhodesian shapes as a good indication. He’s got a real knack for playing with proportions, with this one showing off his predilection for shorter, stubbier designs that nonetheless carry a great deal of heft. While the squat Rhodesian “Eskimo,” or Inuit, is a shape that long predates Cermak’s work, having its history and prehistory in the pipes of Tom Eltang and Sixten Ivarsson respectively, the Czech artisan has nonetheless managed to make it his own. This one shows off the characteristic breadth and color of Cermak’s renditions, along with the signature stoutness of his portfolio.
This pipe is completely unsmoked. It also comes with its original leather sleeve.
