Orlik was an English pipe manufacturer founded in 1899 by Louis Orlik. While originally the company’s mission was to produce low-cost pipes, the make would ultimately be known for the distinctly high quality of their products. Consequently, Orlik pipes are today a favorite among pipe smokers and collectors, especially those who prefer the hobby’s Great British classics.

I’ve had a few Orlik pipes on my desk recently! The brown-sugar stain works well to accentuate these grain patterns, while the traditional quarter-bent bulldog shape lends a reserved quality to the striking aesthetic created by the finish.

This Orlik is also completely unsmoked, with a factory-original bowl coating to help ease in its first smokes. It also comes with its original box and sleeve.
