Comoy’s Tradition 87, Smooth Zulu Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked [SOLD OUT]
Out of stock
Description
Comoy’s is a historic brand in pipe making, and possibly the most historic brand in the making of briar pipes. Though originally founded in 1825 by a French family from Saint Claude, France, production of Comoy’s pipes was soon moved to London, England, where it established itself as one of the quintessential English pipe companies.
Comoy’s Tradition line was first introduced in 1925, to celebrate 100 years of pipe-making by the house of Comoy. Looking at this one, it’s a fitting tribute. The pipe is a traditional Zulu shape, but one with magnificent straight grain that’s been carefully cut in a way that almost follows the curvature of the shape itself. To this has been added a very light, blonde stain, which makes sure not to hide the briar patterns underneath. The pipe is only 35 grams, which will make it a pipe a very comfortable clencher, too.
The pipe is completely unsmoked, with a factory-original bowl coating to help ease in its first smokes. It also comes with its original box and sleeve.
