Weber Blackthorne 215, Sandblasted Straight Billiard Estate Briar Pipe [SOLD OUT]

Description
Weber Pipe Co. was a major American pipe company established by German immigrant Carl B. Weber in 1938, also known for writing the book Weber’s Guide to Pipes and Pipe Smoking. In addition to manufacturing Weber pipes, WPC also manufactured Jobey pipes and contracted Karl Erik to produce the Jobey Dansk line during the Danish pipe boom in the later 20th century.
While not as much of a household name in pipes as Kaywoodie or Custom-Bilt, Weber Pipe Co. was a significant player in American pipe history. It is likely partly because of this historic role that Weber is a make of pipes that we at MBSD get requests for more than almost any other. That, and because they’re just great pipes. This one is a traditional English-French style billiard in the make’s Blackthorne finish, an impressively craggy sandblast reminiscent of very early Charatan, Barling’s Make, or Dunhill pipes. The pipe is also extremely light in weight, at just 32 grams. There’s not much else one could ask for from the classics.
The condition is near-mint. With just some very minor tooth chatter on the stem, this pipe has been carefully preserved by its previous owner.
