Parker Super Bruyere 109, Bent Bulldog Estate Briar Pipe, English Estates [SOLD OUT]

Out of stock

Description

The name ‘Parker’ is closely linked with that of Dunhill in pipe smokers’ minds and in the brand’s history, as Parker was originally something of a seconds outlet for Dunhill pipes, before becoming an independent product whose brand name was simply owned and overseen by the Dunhill company. In either case, they’re great, British pipes, mostly made in the classic English-French shaping style.

This Parker is a beauty of an English pipe. It is a very traditional bent bulldog, with a warm, red stain on the bowl, a vulcanite stem, and even a sterling silver band, hallmarked with the Parker-Hardcastle maker’s mark. Though the bowl has one or two fills and minor scratches, it’s in great shape, and has pretty nice grain too. The rim is near-perfect, meaning the previous owner must have taken great care when smoking it. The same can be said for the vulcanite stem, which is free from bite marks or other abrasions. If you like the classics, this is the pipe for you.
