Savinelli Estella Handmade Rusticated Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked [SOLD OUT]

It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously produced high quality pipes for nearly 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.

While sadly no longer produced, Savinelli’s Estella pipes have for a long time been a cult favorite among fans of the brand, or of pipes in general. Made by hand in a manner akin to the Autograph series rather than Savinelli’s typical factory techniques, the Estella series were consequently more rugged and unique than other pipes from the historic Italian company. It’s easy to see why they’re so coveted – the rustication is really cool, and quite different from more traditional Italian finishing approaches. Dressed in a dark stain with a swirling smoke-cloud hued lucite stem (one with an interesting contour to it), this is one pipe that, if past experience is anything to go by, will be snapped up pretty quickly. Especially since it is – somehow- completely unsmoked!
