This is one of the most beautiful cheroot / cigar holders I have seen. The base of the pipe looks to have cracked due to age, which is really unfortunate. The amber stem and amber fittings would have made this pipe a top of the line cheroot back in the 1800s.

 

Please Note the second photo, and we’ve highlighted the split in the base of the pipe. The stem is stationary and cannot be removed.
